Before returning to the family farm, Adam and Casha
spent many years working in the outdoor industry working all around the UK,

mountaineering, white water rafting, canoeing, kayaking, climbing, bushcraft,
archery to name a few. We have also recently become big fans of axe throwing
not only as a fun thing to do but also keen to explore the realms of its

So after a long winter crafting our archery indoor arena we are happy to say we are now ready and open to the public to come and enjoy what is on offer at the farm. Here is what we have to offer:
Taster Archery & Axe Throwing, Bushcraft (3 hours)
£60.00 per person
Morning session are 10am-1pm
Afternoon sessions are 1.30pm-4.30pm
This is a half day introductory session where we will teach you skills to safely and skilfully handle a recurve bow and arrow on our indoor archery range. After this we will then focus on the throwing techniques needed to handle a hatchet, angel, if you are really good a double headed axe. Your skills will be put to the test in a competition in both disciplines. You might even get your name on our leaders board!

Our woodland environments are really important to us here at Babbinswood Farm. We have trees of all ages, existing woodlands and also young tree plantations which were planted between 5 and 6 years ago. We have plans to plant more trees too!
During your bushcraft day, we want you to really relax, unwind and embrace the natural woodland environment. We will take you back in time and teach you about natural firelighting techniques, crafting primitive tools, using plants to make natural cordage and even at preparing your campfire food.
Archery & Axe Throwing (Overnight)
£160.00 per person
10am to 1pm the next day
Why not really get away from it all and come and camp in our woods, after a full day of bushcraft. We will feed you a hearty lunch, dinner and breakfast, all organically grown if not sourced here at the farm, from local producers and retailers.
Camping can either but under the stars in a shelter you built during the day, or bring your own tent. We can provide simple bell tents for your stay at an additional cost.
Experience the Good Life (Overnight)
£170.00 per person
10am to 1pm the next day
Visitors to Babbinswood Farm often comment on how we are living the good life, rearing animals kindly and naturally on a small scale as we believe that is truly the only way to do it to be sustainable. Your experience will include, half a day bushcraft, half a day Axe Throwing and Archery, the next morning you will have the opportunity to get up for morning milking (7am) after milking we will then go around all the animals, the pigs, sheep, chickens, ducks and working horse and talk about our approach to raising livestock.
We will feed you a hearty lunch, dinner and breakfast, all organically grown if not sourced here at the farm, from local producers and retailers.
